well he calls from Early Position
and he doesnt reraise on the flop so i dont put him on AJ here as the flush draw might intimidate him. I think a jack is very possible here. Fold.

With the pot-sized bet, my thoughts were either 3-x or possible air? When I prepared the all in bet, I actually second thought it, so maybe second guessing myself I shouldn't have pushed? Anyway, I ruled out the 6 because of the bet size, and figured if he had a lone 3 and could even make the call, my two overs with the nut draw was good for the price. What do you think?

A couple of things stand out on the last hand for me.

Firstly, why didn't you raise (or possibly shove, your stack is in that awkward spot) pre flop? Ok, in this case he may well of called but usually that'd take the pot there and then with no fuss.

On the flop, well, you missed it. You didn't raise preflop so it's entirely reasonable he has a 3 or a 6. He probably is scared of the flush draw, hence he made the bet big enough to make you fold, which is what I would have done here. Your stack is short but you should have just enough time to pick a better spot to commit your chips later on.

1st Hand: Fold, your 3 now means nothing. You lose to any other A (besides A2) and to any J.

2nd Hand: Just saw you had flush draw. Now that changes the play a little bit. You had about 45% chance to win and 4% chance to tie. If short stacked, right move. You still had over 10 BB, but I can see why you might have shoved there.

First hand, why have you limped in with ace rag? Doing that gets you in situations like this. Insta fold the turn as you are also now beaten by any ace aswell as a jack.

in the 2nd hand you have an m of about 5 and its folded to you in the sb. Push this please with your ace. The chances are you wont get called by the bb. Or at the very least raise, but you will be out of position doing that so a shove is probably the best option

I realized after that I played the A-rag very poorly, thank you for the help. I should have waited for a better spot.

Also, "m" stands for?

im not very good at explaining but ill try. M is the amount of orbits you can survive with your stack, it takes into account blinds and antes.

example

ante 100
sb 1000
bb 2000

an orbit at this table would cost you 2000+1000+(9*100) = 3900

If you have a chipstack of 39000, you therefore can survive 10 orbits, so your m is 10.

I hope that makes sense
