Screw the odds. How many chips is it worth for a chance to get a screen shot and desk top wallpaper of a royal flush beating aces full or four aces? I'm serious, that was my whole thinking and my game went out the window. Does anyone else do this? It's not the first time for me.

Its a freeroll so might be worth it just to try and get one. I have in the past made the call without proper odds but only when it was open ended so I have lots of outs whether it is of the suit I want or not.

And I have never got it so....:(

If there's a huge bad beat jackpot and it's a low lim/buyin, may as well call.

Otherwise I must say wtf? :)

Well you had 12 outs, assuming he didn't have exactly ace-queen. I don't mind the call, after all the name of the game is accumulating chips. What i don't understand about the hand is the mini (1X BB) from early position. What where you trying to accomplish here. If you were trying to get people out you didn't bet enough. If you were trying to build a pot, why? Jack-10 suited is a fine hand to play cheaply against a large field but it;'s a hand you have to throw away most of the time after the flop so who are you building the pot for. A 3 to 5X BB bet might have gotten rid of the ace X. I say might because it's a freeroll and ace x and any 2 suited cards rule.
