Hate_Burton: ????

Average stack is around 80,000 table has been loose as of late, but I only sat in for a few hands maybe 9 or 10 as I was just moved to this table. Two all in preflop so far and the best hand was AQ, also KQ and J10 were shown. So it's call or raise at this point but why one over the other? BTW there are only ~50 left out of 2800 so we are already ITM.

I probably shove to scare anyone else off, he is a shortstack and you are way ahead of his range. It's kind of scary that there is so many to act behind you but I they will need aces or kings to call your all in and if they have them that's just unlucky.

His M is 6 so he probably has an above average hand, you're M is over 10 so you still have a lot of time, you could fold here and be fine since you're not under as much pressure from the blinds. I don't think AA or KK would bet like this so you're probably ahead I think you should call.

Easy shove to try and isolate.

No need to shove here really, just calling his all in shows great strength. The point of an isolation raise is to get the pot heads up and discourage others from playing with good pot odds, that's not the case here since the original raiser's bet was so large. But shoving is fine also since if we did smooth call and someone else behind us goes all in we will call, so it doesn't matter much.

Just calling shows much less strength than shoving. It's either a shove or fold here, no calling. If you just call and someone moves in behind you you would seriously have to consider folding.

So I feel like I still made the right move, with only the blinds left to act after me I figured might as well try to push them out putting the UTG player on a mid pair like they ended up having. It seems as though this was just bad luck, the right hand at the wrong time I guess, I just wanted to see if others would have played it the same way. Thanks for the input.

you did make the right move, unlucky that someone had AA out of position on the BB.

Even having seen the results, you have to shove here and hope AA or KK isn't behind.

Anything else is playing too scared.
