Please tell me how stupid I am

Last night i was playing a sit and go tournement at a friends dorm room with 9 ppl. This guy two huge pots and had a very big chip lead when there were only four ppl left. I had the second biggest. He was bluffing and bullying from then on. So i had king 8 and raised preflop 3 x the blind. He just called so i figued he had nothing. The flop was 2 6 10 so i bet 2/3 of the pot and he just called. On the turn my king comes up, so i check to hope that he will bet but he just checks. The river was an ace so i bet 2/3 of the pot to see if he will call. he pushes me all in. After about tinking about all the times he bluffed, i figured that he was just trying to steal the pot, so i called. He had two pair Ace, and a 6 and i was knocked out. Would anybody else of called this or am I as stupid as i think i am?

why are you playing K8 against the chip leader on the bubble? Target the smaller stacks. Pick better spots (KK, AA) to go against the chip leader.
