72bb stack. I open AKdd UTG to 1300. Blinds are at 325-650. MP calls off a 28bb stack and bb defends. Flop A34 all clubs. BB checks. I check. And MP bets 2/3 pot. Bb folds. What do you do?

I think I would have to call in that spot . He only had 28 bb to start the hand . He can't bust you and there is a good chance he has a weaker A with a club kicker . If a 4th club hits then I might fold depending on bet size and pot size at that point .

AK is a hand with a lot of potential. As he has an Ace on the flop, he has very few hands that can beat you. So I would have a tendency to raise on the flop to avoid giving a free card to my opponent.

I think I raise bigger pre, bet the flop and call off.

I raise bigger preflop , you only gave em 1 BB to call with ANYTHING that looks decent. So there is potential to have 25 suited in the BB. to answer the question , I now have to see a turn because I don't have much info on the raiser , so depending on what hits the turn Id be raising

I’d be putting them on KQ AQ, with a club K or Q in both range options betting 2/3 means they’re representing AK with K of clubs. Not going to call your raise with 2 5. With that being said, you’d still be behind with no club. I’d say fold...to call knowing your villain has more outs than you for sure is a waste of blinds [emoji6]

As previously mentioned, it would have been better to make at a 3 times BB raise preflop. After the flop and his large bet, there are very few hands that beat you at this point, so I would go all in over top of him.

I believe at this point it's do or die since he's already commited hat 30% of his stack.

I would put him all in, I mean you have AK for AA blocker, he may have a small set but chancs are slim. he mostly likely has 55- 22 or AJ or lower kicker.

Either way if you're wrong, you still have what 50bb :)

Raise more pre, at least 3x BB. As played, call in this case.

Possibly on a draw... But may have hit their low set. Pocket 3s, pocket 4s... Best case scenerio would be them having Pocket 2s and hoping for a straight. Maybe even with the 2c.

I'd still call. But if a club or 5 hit the turn, I'd fold.

Or he could have Pocket 5s with a 5c.

You can risk and call max to the turn, cause i think SB will finally go all in if he have clubs and for You there is small chance to have fullhouse. Fold is the best way, better loose few BB than half of your stack.

If he's aggressive and an amateur probably call or all in him, he could be semi-bluffing with the A or the K. If he has it your both around 45, really depends on his play style.

Thank you for posting.

Could the villain be value betting a flush?
What is the range of hands that make flushes that would call 2bb?
All are 2 club hands: KQ KJ K10 QJ Q10 J10 J9 109 108 98 97 87 86 76 65
All the flushes except the 3 Kx may want to protect vs a suckout.
You could easily have KKc after all.

What other hands might call in position and bet like this?
Poorly played AxKc AxQc AxJc Ax10c We are 52% vs AQ and below
33-44 A3 A4
A5c is 55% vs us on this flop.

I hope this helps.
