KK in the button how many limpers? If you have several limpers I'd raise to eliminate people who wants to see the flop cheap! If not... this might be a good time to trap for more money!

It's a freeroll, you have no table image, so don't mention it. :p

Just raise to 1k or so - 3x is a little small with an EP limper.

late in a tourney i like to raise 4 times the bb. if that is over 35% of my stack im allin becouse the blinds go up too fast and i play premium hands so i have a good table image. it works for me . i have won 8 of those tourneys and cashed in probly 25 others

At this point, i think you should make a feeler bet of at least half the pot. You might get callers because you are the button but i don't think anyone flopped a set.

You've not bet enough, you should have bet 800 minimum imo. 3 callers = 6 cards and you cant really dismiss a 3 from any of them. I'd bet 1,500 here, that's enough. I would have thought that would take the post down, but you'd have to fold to a bit re-raise.

I think you need to make a bigger bet here. Maybe even over bet the pot to look like a steal. You dont want more 1 or 2 callers, 1 pair not that good in a 4-way pot. What you really hope for is to get raised, which the reason for making look like a steal.

3X blind raise

when i calculate good play my preflop raise is 3X + limpers so in this case I raise 3X + 200 = 800. if i get the re raise i call. if they push ...decisions decisions. you played it right .....and full tilt doesn't like slow played aces. I call the push even. just watch pre break knockouts and chip stack evening out. ( especially mid late tourney ) full tilt will use big hands to even out stacks if your huge and are unsure of the best hand. lay down and wait because you don't want to put your opp. back in the game.

Why try to just steal the blinds plus one limp in with an all in bet with KK? KK are good starting hole cards, but they are still just one pair when 3 other cards are added to the hand. I would just raise it 3X the big blind. You may still accomplish your goal of stealing the blinds and one limper without risking everything in a crap shoot.

you have a great advantage...on the button. everyone else folds. one limps. Depending on the play of the limper with 14,000, maybe she is triing to buy the blinds. smart in her spot. If she doesnt have anything she will fold no matter how much you go over blind. So why not 3,000. gl

you want action, but from a good hand, everything else is going to fold if you put pressure, 5x's bb, someone with a good hand might feel your trying to steal, and might reraise all in, and that's what you want, chances are they would have raised in early postion if they had a big hand hoping to get action, so the right play is to make them put it on the line or get out. Either way you want to get yours in with the best of it, and there is only one other hand that could beat you preflop, so I would push.

That would be my old "freeroll only" screen name, then when I started real money I changed screen names. Shhh, don't tell full tilt!

I may have some HH's from real money games from willthegreat24, but those were all freeroll winnings. I had a good bankroll going but then it all went away. :(

Now you probably know what my first name is!

Well, just don't go emailing support because I took your money at that cash table with a separate account. I have not used willthegreat24 since my freeroll days. Nobody noticed when I made the transfer either.

lol rb, seriously no problems, there would be absolutely no reason for me to mail support, and i would gain nothing by doing so. Its all good as far as i see it. And also i left that table with a profit and didnt steals your blinds once, you should be grateful

Most people that play freerolls are either beginners or don't care about chips or the tourney enough to pay attention to a correct pot raise you have raise to eliminate people that will pay to play the hand.
