Your bet on the turn was fine, 6k into a 6.9k pot, enough to give the wrong odds to anyone drawing. Stampmanone should have folded there as he put his tournament life on a draw in a 4 to 1 situation, as pointed out by Bombjack. He also had no implied odds because he was shortstacked. A classic suckout. Nothing you can do.

Jae is that Poker After Dark a freeroll?

1st mistake you limped, limping is weak, raising puts doubt in your opponents mind. You may actually hold 2/7 but a raise puts your opponent to thinking you have A/K, A/A, K/K etc. So no not aggressive at all.

2nd entering the hand from middle position without raising with a 3rd to 4th tier starting hand. If you enter from early to middle position RAISE at least make them THINK you have a 1st tier starting hand. Limp=weak raise=aggressive.

3rd mistake with someone betting into you and 3 opponents to act behind you your bet needs to be pot sized or all-in. You flopped a nut straight and the temptation to slowplay it should be resisted with 3 players to act behind you, there are possible flush draws with 2 hearts hitting the flop. That was a weak/passive raise and lacks the confidence of aggression.

Since this hand was played so weak from the beginning by the turn Steph smelled blood in the water, your 6k turn bet was strong but the cloudy history of this hand allowed your opponent to call. If you were AGGRESSIVE from pre-flop to this point the history of this hand would be more sharp in your opponents mind. DANGER bells, whistles and flags would be going off and sending your opponents fingers to the fold button.

If this is a freeroll it has to be played SUPER AGGRESSIVE, you can't slowplay freerolls you'll get clobbered. I might try trapping once I hit the final 18 but before that it's too dangerous.

So to answer your question; i was aggressive enough wasnt i? the answer is no.

This is a great place to ask questions like these. Even I learn from disecting and writing my thoughts on them. No negative critisicizm intended only positive enlightenment is my intent.

Good Luck
