This is my first real hand analysis so be gentle with me.

Play is heads up. chips are pretty even with me having 60 more chips than the other guy. I got dealt pocket 3s My hope was to catch a 3 on the flop which i did. I went all in. The guy had been playing rather loose throughout the tournament so it was no surprise he called with 78. I thought he got lucky suckouts more than he deserved. I took a chance and prevailed. What do you think?

Your play was fine. I honestly would have slowplayed the set. No flush draws and longshot straight draws on the flop. Thankfully, someone called your all in and you got paid handsomely.

All-in HU with a set, perfection:D .
couldn't have played it any better, considering the fact that the villian has been loose made the call all that much easier.

standard.

calling the flop with that board and those stacks is in many ways more scary than shoving. not the spot to get tricky, the pooosh is standard.

Can we talk about your opponent's play?

Who calls your allin with TP/7-kicker? What he counting on the runner-runner straight to take the pot?

Nah, your play was fine, but I'm surprised he called your CR allin.

Me too. T1riel echoes my sentiments exactly.

I read through it twice just to make sure i hadn't missed anything and have to say 'nh' :) .

I like the check on the flop - and with no straight or flush draws showing nicely done.

:)

Classic trap. Nice play.

Even if he folded you would have owned the chip lead, which is very important heads up.
