good laydown. i could see the argument for a call though. brunson (i believe) talks about big bets on obvious boards a lot of the times being bluffs.

I can't see villain calling down these bets only to bluff at a club/straight card, though it is of course possible. I think it's safe to say that JD was beat here...though he's getting 3.5:1 odds on his money which might be enough to call. I guess we could do a full HA with odds; I'm too lazy/dumb to figure it all out though, and I'll just say it was a good fold :p

There are straight and flsuh draw possibilities, you have to fold here. It's clear that your oppoenent was chasing.

As played, you have to fold. I don't really like you announcing you have two pair and are making a 'big' fold here, as it makes you appear weak and gives anyone who's paying attention a license to try and run over you.
