I know I started with a poor hand. But having hit the board hard was wondering if this is a mistake to call the shove in the turn?...

i think is not necessary bet on the flop, but doing a bet u do need think what hands villain pay your bet. Villain with overpairs, K, set and draws.
Turn is good for you, but is more good to someone hit straight/flush draw.
You can do a pot control, bet here 300~350, but any reaction unfortunately it's fold, board too dangerous.

Thanks. Good point. I need to have this as a sort of checklist.. overpairs, set and draws on top of what is very evident.....

Obvious. If you get raised on turn or river, abort mission. There is very little you can beat when villain is raising here.
