SB vs BB I get into this situation where I stack off with a pair very often.

The hand below is an example.

UTG: 8,776 (18 bb)
CO: 9,938 (20 bb)
BU: 17,948 (36 bb)
SB: 8,094 (16 bb)
BB (Hero): 9,108 (18 bb)

Pre-Flop: (1,050) Hero is BB with 5 Q
3 players fold, SB calls 250, Hero checks

Flop: (1,300) 6 Q 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets 910, SB raises to 2,000, Hero raises to 8,548 (all-in), SB folds

Total pot: 5,300
BB (Hero) wins 5,300

You have 18bb - for me, limped pot, BvB - I am going with top pair here. There are quite a few draws that can call our bets or a shove in this spot. Draws are just that - DRAWS, they are not made hands! So it's an easy spot for us to get called by worse. For me, short stacked like this (20bb or less) I am always going with top pair -if I go broke so be it.

I am not in love with 3-bet jamming the flop. I think, you just fold out his junk and get called by made hands, that have you crushed, and strong draws you are flipping with. So I would prefer to just call his check-raise and then make decisions later.
