Hand played between 2 players, I took the initiative on the flop making a bet, I saw that my hand was projected very well, but on the turn I saw a danger, on the river I made a straight but I was already dominated with flush, you would have folded with straight?

Since this is a freeroll it changes some things such as our opponents could be decent players and they could be players that are terrible. I know we both play in a lot of these so that is already known to you. With that being the case I don't mind the limp in these type of tournaments as so many are passive and you get to see the flop for next to nothing. I don't agree though with the overbet on the flop. I know you are trying to scare away other draws but you only have a draw and middle pair yourself on a board that connects big time with other limpers. I definitely think betting is fine I just wouldnt go over pot here. A pot sized bet here is probably just as effective as an overbet at getting folds if there is no real connectivity with your opponents hands.

After all the calls on the flop of the overbet I would already be scared because again we only have middle pair crap kicker right now to go with our draw. On the turn I like the check as it is a very bad card for us since we are losing to everything now (6x, flush, made straight). I think you can even think about folding the turn since we are beat a lot here but the bet is so small the call is more than appropriate and I would have called myself in the moment for sure.

When the river comes we initially like it but once the small blind leads out we have to start thinking about what our relative hand strength is to him plus we still have someone behind us who bet on the turn. With SB leading here for the amount they lead (little over half) they arent bluffing too often if at all. They will rarely if ever have a two pair hand and lead it on a board that has a flush and 4 to s straight. That leaves them with a flush, a straight or possibly trip sixes (not sure they would lead that but its a freeroll so they might). At this point what do we beat? We are chopping with another straight unless they have J9 which we lose and we lose to a flush. Making this call to me would be making it to chop the pot which is not a good idea. We also still have the player behind us to act which we more than likely based on the turn know has something and will at least call. Its a tough fold because we hit the straight but I think its a fold. The only way to convince me that its not a fold is that again its a freeroll and we all have seen players at showdown turn up stuff and we are like WTF. Close in a freeroll but I say you are chopping at best usually.

That is a tough spot. I would lean towards a fold.

I imagined that one of the two players was looking for the flush, but he compromised my stack a lot in that play

Thanks for the kind words. We have been at several CC freeroll tables together on a few sites, I know you have destructor as your screen name. As far as the development of my game, lets just say its needs a lot of developing lol.
