I was playing a cardschat freeroll, 66 in big blind, I had 7 BB, my move was fine, or I could expect a better hand.

Thanks and GL:

Howdy you made the correct play just unlucky as you had not got enough chips to get your opponent to fold their mediocre cards you could call and fold though when missed the flop.
Hindsight is a great thing though:icon_puke

Yes, that's the correct move when you're under 9BB with 66 and against his range it was perfectly done just you got unlucky but at a long term you'll be winning that hand is just like playing AA against KK sometimes AA will lose to be more accurate about 20% of the times it will lose and 80% of the times will win, hopes this helps

GL on the tables!

With that few BB you must play this hand. Other than shoving pre flop, your only other option is the Stop and Go. Flat call pre flop, shove all in on the flop regardless of what comes. In this case, it would not have worked as your opponent flopped top pair, but if they had a hand like KJ, JT, maybe even AJ they have a tough call and may fold or just call off way behind
