I would like to know if it is profitable in the long run to play this hand this way and in this situation?
Or if it's worth giving up even though you know what range you're playing against, simply because you don't want to take chances in the middle stages. However, I was looking at the equity of my hand replayer hand at 61% on the flop and 80% on the turn, just this enough information to assess whether it is profitable? or factors like the likelihood of improving the villain's hand on the next streets influences this calculation?

With 7 players left behind ATo should be folded, and even AJo is close. As played you could check the flop for pot control, since you hand is somewhat in between, but C-betting is also ok. However when you get raised, your hand is clearly only a call and then evaluate later, if he continue to fire big bets. 3-betting and then calling off his jam is a massive overplay.

He only need AQ or AK to have you in really bad shape, and he can also have JJ, 77 or AJ, which has you drawing nearly dead. Yes from time to time he might also have a draw, but even then he has around 40% equity, and as the outcome illustrate, he will sometimes realise that equity.

Your open is fine imo. However, the minraise on the flop is something I would be very careful about. I'm definitely not a fan of re-raising there. I would call, given the cheap price and having top pair. However, on the turn a straight completes (T8) & on the river the flush completes. This of course doesn't matter as the hand was played, but would be something to consider in case you don't get the money in on the flop.

My experience is that in CC tourneys, ATo is an OK open, even at a full table.

I've said it before, and will again. Don't be results orientated. You got all your chips in on the flop as a 2:1 favourite against a 6 high flush draw. You got unlucky, but well played.

Playing for all stack not good here (with top pair only). Suited hand for freeroll played often.

I prefer call for min raise of flash draw board (freeroll), and play depend on turn

Thank U 4 Posting

To learn and grow from this spot we want to think about the range Villains might have to take these actions in games where it is not just a freeroll blast off. We then think about our equity versus that range.

When we bet flop and are min raised what range would a standard V have in that spot to min raise us?

Ax? AJ? 77? A7? JJ? KsQs? KsXs-2s3s Would JJ just call pre?

We then min 3bet. Why? Was this to induce a shove? If so why did we think a stack off with A10 would be EV+?

Our V shoves-what hands from the above range example can we eliminate from a standard V shoving range?
Once we have our new estimated range how well does AT do versus that new range?

By doing range estimating exercises we better understand what our V could be doing beyond freerolls.

Hope this helps
