Are you a cash, tournament or both player? And what do you feel is your strong point?

I have played a decent amount of both, but currently I am focusing on tournaments. The reason is, I got a little bored with cash games, and I also think, tournaments tend to be softer and have less effective rake, which makes it easier to win money and build up a decent bankroll.

The main drawback is, tournaments are much more unflexible. You need to wait for a certain tournament to start, and then you are stuck with it, until you win or bust. Which might be 10 minutes or 6 hours. With cash games you can come and go, as you like, so I totally understand, why many still prefer that format.

Hello! When playing in different formats, you need to rebuild the strategy, for me personally it is difficult, for this reason I try to play one format for several days.
Best regards, Sergei.

Totally agree with this and I would even say several weeks or even month, if you are playing for profit and want to become better. Even just player pool tendencies are so different, that there is a risk of becoming "a jack of all trades but a master of none", if you jump back and forth all the time.

I think this is the best way to go about it too. Thanks for your input!

I play all the modality are available, cash, tournament, sitandgo and spin...

Each day I will prefer to play one modality, according to what I'm feeling on the day.

I don't know in what modality I earn more....

This also a great way to go about things. I personally feel if you start mixing it can put you off your game. So focussing on one thing a day, week or month is the way to go.
