Agreed...shove preflop...all you have is a pair....

Even at this point of a tourney, you still have to play middle pair aggressively . I would have likely gone all in pre-flop. Upon seeing a 6-7-8 on the flop, I definitely would have shoved at that point being a little worried someone might be working a middle straight.

If you had shoved pre, it's likely that the villain would have folded here if he was tight enough to not want to risk half his stack with an off-suit connector, and you would have been able to pick up the blinds and antes which would have added a decent amount to your stack. If I'm down to 10BB and get TT I'm shoving pre without a second thought.
