Actually I misspoke, villain was BB and I raised Preflop

I think your question is regarding the re-raise on the flop. I would say your action is correct to raise the re-raise due to the fact that the villain is rarely if ever bluffing when they raise your C bet. In this scenario you can raise for value with your bottom set knowing villain has a lot of two pair combos and you would think you would have heard from pocket Aces beforehand so the only set they could have would be 7s. The re-raise by you is correct and just bad luck that villain got there by the river. Cooler
