I decided to raise UTG with AQo because at this table there where 3 players in sit-out and 2 where very tight. The ones that are into the pot and called my raise where 2 players with VPIP over 60 after 14 hands.

Would you guys call the turn bet there? And if you do, will you call the river?

the range we're against possibly are 77,88, TT+ or another A high
calling the turn really depends on how active UTG post flop previously, if we're calling turn, then river 1/3 pot bet we're calling, anything higher we fold

Preflop
Raising AQ is completely standard even with 8 players left behind, so the sit-out players changes nothing. Your sizing of >4BB is not standard though. Such an oversized raise might be a good exploit in a freeroll, where many players will call way to wide, but in more serious games this is not something, I would recommend.

Flop
You are monkey in the middle and basically missed, and its kind of close, weather I C-bet this or not. And if I C-bet, I prefer a slightly smaller sizing. Its mainly an equity denial bet, where you are trying to fold out hands like KJ or QT, which randomly has some equity to pair up. And I dont see those hands continue for 800-900 either, so I dont think, you quite need to risk this much.

Turn
When they both give action on the flop, and you are still left with A high, I dont see any other option than check-fold. Even more so when the bet from UTG+1 get called by BB. The best case scenario here is, you are chopping with another A high, and there is still one more betting round to come.

River
You ask a hypothetical river question, and this is difficult to answer, because if you overcall the turn, UTG+1 might not bet the river, or he might pick a different sizing. But if I am BB and has a hand like AJ of spades, which missed its flushdraw, then I am calling such a small bet on the river on a dubble paired board.
