Preflop
Totally fine to complete with a suited 1-gapper.

Flop
With a strong draw like this, that also dont have any showdown value, I will often lead out in a limped pot. It allow me to take control of the action, it makes it easier to barrel later streets, and if everyone folds, and I pick it up right now, that a great result. As played you could also consider a check-raise. Check-calling is also a +EV play, but with a hand like this an aggressive route is almost always better than a passive one.

Turn
Gin card for you since you now have the nuts, and a well disguised so. Even now I think, leading has merits to not allow him to check back, but if you check again, the intention has to be to check-raise and try to get all the chips in on the river. So as played this looks completely fine. The fact, he folded, probably just mean, he had a very weak hand, that was not going to pay you on the river anyway.

Definately yes. Check call turn and half pot bet any river.
You missed out on a lot of value in a spot where your equity is somewhere around 90% most likely.

I think your play is fine.

If you'd wanted to try to get paid off by a wider range, maybe a check/smaller raise on the turn. He did fold, so it suggests he didn't have much of the board anyway.
