450+ player MTT Final table

The raise was only about 1/5 of my stack, so maybe I should have called and not pushed. M around 9.

Any reads on opponent? With you M I can't fault you for the shove here. With your stack size and opponents stack, the stop-n-go would have been a better play IMHO once you decided to commit to this hand.

This hand looks okay from the way it was played. Alternatively, you could have mucked it and hoped to move up the pay ladder (what I would have done).

You got your money in on a coin flip, which is what AK is normally up against. Well played imo.. sadly you lost the coin flip but that's life.

Yeah, I like to stop-n-go here, but shipping it preflop is absolutely fine.

stop n gos should generally be saved for small pairs or unpaired hands with less value than AK. All our value from AK comes from shipping it pf - if we hit an ace or king, he won't commit with an underpair. If we stop n go a flop like that TT3, we fold out the worse unpaired hands, get occasionally bluffed out by those same hands, and frequently get looked up by most pairs.

Shoving is the only option here imo

QQ was gonna get all your chips here unless you think you could have layed it down.

yes, basically. Shoving or betting.

QQ was gonna get all your chips here unless you think you could have layed it down.

This is why we should hide results - replies are affected. HA isn't about what we could have done against that specific hand, it's what we do against a range of hands. Hide results next time pls

One question, was this his normal raise(4+bb) or bigger. If it was bigger then normal then I would just call.
