You're one of those guys who put in those weird size bets just to throw the stack sizes out of whack! You keep pennies in a 10 Grand game.

556 is like minslowplaying. Looks like the key to some secret formula.;)

The fact that it worked boggles my mind.:joyman:

When someone bets an odd number, I usually put him on a very strong hand or a very weak hand (usually strong). Seemed to have worked for you :D

Bets are pretty standard, all odd numbers aside. PF is a little light for me with all the deepstacks, but the table conditions could call for anything, so I won't argue.

What was the thinking behind the odd numbers?

What was the thinking behind the odd numbers?

just something I have been messing with, the question I ask more though is how is my betting amount. Not the specific numbers but the betting amount in releation to the pot. Latley I have been working on betting pots lighter then I used to so I can create more action and get paid off on my good hands. Like this example on flop I bet light enough and got floated by QJ.

I like this style a lot. In todays hyper-donkeriffic-aggressive game, poor players always assume that if you don't hit the 'bet pot' button that you've got a weak hand or a draw. If a hand like this occurs early enough it will do 2 things. First, of the few people that are paying attention, they will respect your bets more often which will allow you to steal pots cheaply later on. And secondly for those that aren't paying attention, they will pay you off more often while still not being so invested that you can't get away from it.

I myself am far more successful playing small pot poker, and these bet sizes are the type I use most often..
