How to shut down with a set, by tyler.

Dont ask why cake hand histories ****ing suck, they just do.

Beginning, no reads, no info, notta. Turn bet would have been A) suicide or B) ended the hand.

Thoughts?

So we pretty far into the 2nd hour of tourney now, M is about 11 or something low...

Looking back the guy had just lost a huge pot, so I didnt put him on too big of a hand, obv made the wrong move but....

Perhaps a reraise/all-in initially would have worked.... I couldnt fold after the flop. :(

1st hand - Don't see anything wrong. Yeah it sucks that the spades hit but this early it is about survival. Your $1100 bet was a bit too small as it still gave COLD 3-1 odds but COLD would have called an AI if they had 2 over spades.

2nd hand def shove over that lead raise, it's an equal stacked opponent, your stacks are too short to make a decent raise and still have workable stack behind. Put your opponent to the test. Your right that he may have called anyway but it would have been wrong for him to do so.

Yeah I think I saved myself in the 1st hand.

You are right too about 2nd, i fuxed it up - should have gone allin and put the pressure on, perhaps he would have folded.
