I was concerned about my all in call against a player like Freak. With the possible hands that could have beat me with that flop should I have folded.

When you put it that way, I really dont know, not having played at the same table with freak and not really knowing the type of player he is.

Depends on how much you value Freaks re-raises.

Take another look at the flop.

If he has reraised (pre-flop) with AA, KK, JJ, TT then he is ahead. Only really leaves you hoping he has QQ (where he would still be on an open-ended draw)

I think if you have seen enough if Freak to value the pre-flop reraise, then I think checking flop and getting out of dodge may be the way to go.

Tricky one... I don't know how Freak plays but most of the time when someone re-raises they have AA, KK, QQ, JJ, or AK. You're behind in all cases except level with AK. Could you have laid down pre-flop?

One thing I've learned...when Freak re-raises, you need to give the man some credit. I suffered from it early on in the tourney, didn't listen to my little inner-voice that tries to keep me out of trouble...

But AI, there's not much different you could have done here. Really, the only three holdings that can beat you are AA, KK, or possibly AQ (but I don't see Freak re-raising with AQ). IMO you pretty much had to call.

JJ, TT as well... question is more, what can you beat? QQ is the only hand really, or split pot with AK. I doubt most people would be all-in with QQ here.
