I had been playing very tight during this FT and two or three hands previous to this one I had made my first re-steal from the button. What do you think? I coulda just folded the flop but I read him sooooooo weak on 3rd and 4th streets... I coulda just shoved the turn also. Feedback please.

Yeah actually I called the river bet and he was holding 8-6o for a busted straight draw.. The reason I raised PF was because the table was getting passive and I needed some chips to play with, since I am quite aggresive post-flop.

At least raise a little more than that preflop. If I were BB I'd call with almost any two cards unless I were severely short stacked. If you're gonna steal the chip leader's BB (which I don't recommend), you have to at least do it with authority. I think a fold is best, but your small raise was probably the worst play you could make.

I also fail to understand why you made a weak flop bluff with no draw against the chip leader who bet into you. He obviously has something. Did you think he was going to fold to your raise when you were giving him 4.5:1 to call?

After the flop, I think the play was fine.
