I recently got switched to this table and really didn't have the time to develop any good reads. How should I have played this?

I was betting left and right because I knew he was drawing and I was trying to make him pay for those draws.

I try not to play AJo out of position against a raise.

That makes sense, I guess... but how about the play after? I had a big pot to play there with someone who just limped in.

in the future don't show results, they can affect the analysis.

Don't forget at the flop you are only betting into the side pot, I am not sure I bet here with just a TPTK hand. I would just check it down myself. I don't like playing big pots with a small hand.

That being said, if you are betting a thousand you might as well shove as you are pot committed anyway and give yourself the best chance to make him fold. He might have still called but you can't stop that, nor do you want to.

With stack sizes I think I might have shoved preflop to try to get heads up on the short stack that was obviously going to commit his stack.
