I think this should have either been a 3-bet fold; or flat pre, X/min raise/fold flop. UTG+1 had just joined the table, so no meaningful stats, cut-off was playing 47+ VPIP.

With the Broadway pair and stack coverage I'm all in.

Unless the Villian is a super nit, this looks like an easy spot to 3-bet preflop and then call his 4-bet rather than fold. Just a bit unlucky to run into AA.

I think losing 50 BBs on a Ten high flop with a pair of Jacks is OK. Unlucky, but certainly not terrible play.

Hello, I think that call pre flop with pocket JJ against 4 players isn't good decision and it is a small mistake. We should try play this hand against only one player, then is more possible that we will win this hand. I prefer squeeze pre flop at least 4x of raise utg. We have probably better hand that players on CO and button and there are a lot of dead chips in pot. If we play squeeze and opponent goes allin I think that we can fold pocket JJ on about 50bb in stack, because his range from UTG usually should be tight, if he goes allin he should has something like QQ+ and Ako. So in the best situation we have a coinflip situation against AK, but call allin pre flop on about 50bb stack is a little risky move for me. GL :)

I lose 2-3 hands like this daily but with QQs. I can call out like Dnegs what the villain has as often as the turn before he bets. For this reason - I've started flatting QQs a lot - and it works out often - except when the villains have KK+.
Aces hitting the board make it an easy lay down, but these boards make it a tough fold.

I don't like the line you took here (at all).

If you are going to flat pre, you are turning your JJ into a "set mining" type hand, considering you are so multi-way heading to the flop.

You don't hit your set, and are now raising the C-bet from our preflop raiser (effectively getting worse hands like AK/AQ/etc that missed to fold, and just setting yourself up to be stacked my higher OPs/sets).

3 bet pre most of the time, like almost all of the time.

When you decide NOT to 3 bet pre, just float this flop next time and save the chippies. UTG only has 15bb and you could have preserved chips to see if you could bag a KO on the very next hand (UTG w/15bb will be BB next hand).

I would’ve raised preflop and maybe fold to a 4bet. A call preflop isn’t horrible but I the mistake is raising on the flop. The only you’re good against is AT. The rest of his strong hands have you beat or you make opponent fold their bluffs.
