a) They have a lot of points and want to flip early for a chance to get a huge chipstacks and a better shot at a seat (instead of comitting an hour + to what is essentially a freeroll and bubbling)
b) They don't know better
c) They just want to donk around for free

I'd said it's a mix of a and b and sometimes c

Ya, like jeffred says pretty much.

Since only the winner gets anything, some people figure they might as well go for the chip stack early. The last one I played I folded AK in the blinds because there were 2 people all-in. They had marginal hands but one paired something and I would have been gone.

The winner kept calling pushes with marginal hands, and another player did pretty much the same thing. They both built stacks so by the 2nd orbit there were only 4 of us left. I used their aggession against them (waiting to push my good hands when they had limped, knowing they would call with whatever they had, and letting them battle each other) and ended up winning by about the 40 or 50th hand.

I thought you were going to show us a HUGE pot where the rake gave you 70 FPPs.

I just won one of these yesterday and from the HH, I went AI more than 6 times before the play got HU, so you need to get lucky and get it in with only the best of it. And since this isn't a turbo, most of it was very deep (for a SNG) so you can accumulate a very large chipstack before going HU.

They are pretty easy to win as not a lot of people seem to know how to play bigstack and just try to push you around with crap stuff. Example:

AA on the button, raise to 5XBB, get called by BB.

Flop comes 347 rainbow. BB checks, I bet pot, he calls. Turn is a K of diamond, making two diamonds on board, he insta-pushes (and I almost cover him). I call, thinking "DUH, flush draw with one pair).

He flips over KT of HEARTS. I at least thought he would push with a flush draw, but not for this trooper. Top pair crappy kicker is enough for him. River was the A of diamonds, giving me a set.

I also saw someone type "Of course worse hand wins" when he went all-in with AJo against 88 and the 88 made a set. Plus another one who bitched for 5 minutes about someone cracking his Kings after he raised THE WHOLE TABLE 3xBB. Fun times!
