So this hand played out in a recent tournament for me. We had been playing at the table for quite a while so I think I had started to get to know the playstyles a little.

I had also seen the villain play a wider range from this position. My thoughts he had a weak K or a small pocket pair.

So I decided on the turn I was going to turn this into a bluff on the river, I repped a strong hand with my big blind defend and both check calls, pushing for maximum value on the river!

However this is how I seen the hand play out If anyone else would to chip in with their views I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.

Nice hand!

This river is a nice one to turn your hand into a bluff on putting 4 to a straight on board, but I wouldn't make the play on a lot of rivers (i.e. blanks).

Hello,

It looks like it was a successful bluff or value bet. Well played

As the game evolves, ranges are getting wider from every position.

Your bluff worked that time, but a 9 is certainly in villain's range (K9, T9 etc). This time he didn't have it. Also, there are some players who will not fold a King there. They just won't.
