Just got moved to the table. While I was waiting to be dealt in the same two limpers limped that hand as well and folded to a raise from the guy to my right(BB in that hand). I have very few hands, if any, on anyone.

Are we shoving in the BB here or do we just check and evaluate the flop?

On the bubble and for 23BB I prefer to take a free flop and keep the pot small.

I would raise, you don't have much hands on anyone but they don't know you, either. And you have a stack that still allows you to raise and possible make a C-bet on the flop without compromising that much of your stack. And I guess it's not a turbo event since you didn't mention it, so in case you get called for raise + C-bet and lose those chips, you have some time to wait a hand worth a push without blinding off.

Hello,

Usually I would say shove with this hand being the shorty but everyone has a significant stack including you with 22bb. Because everyone is deep I'd say check and play catiously being out of position. I'd only continue with strong draws or pairs plus draws. If it checks through on the flop I'd consider a bluff depending on the board.

The first thing I will say is that it is out of the question to raise to any amount other than a jam. I am not saying to raise at all but am saying raising to 4x or so is not a good option. I think the players that like to limp a lot are also not deterred by raises too much and are used to limp calling. If you raise to 4x or so here you will get at least one call and be out of position with a SPR that would be in the area of 2 at largest and could be 1.3 or so at the smallest. Then if you miss what are doing? Betting and committing yourself? If you are going to raise you would have to go for it all and hope to pick up the pot which would be 4BB maybe counting antes and you would be risking 23BB to do it. I like jamming this with a smaller stack, something like 17BB and less but at 23BB I prefer to see a flop and see what happens. I would be prepared to be getting all my chips in the middle one way or another if I flop top pair whether that top pair was an ace or a 10. Otherwise I would be checking when I miss and seeing if I get lucky enough to see a turn.

Thank U 4 Posting

The difficulty lies in knowing what range those 2 big stacks are limping with. If they are limping weak hands we can shove. If they are limping AK-AJ JJ etc then we may wish to see a cheap flop as we are on the bubble.

The fact that they limp folded the hand before to a raise suggests that it would not be an error to shove. After all they both out stacked the BB raiser and one of them should have called to potentially get the bounty.

Hope this helps
