On turn, I should use probably bigger sizing and probably give up when called. On river, it should be all in or fold, more inclined to second one because I got significant bounty. What do you think? Phase of mtt, late registration, close to end.

Preflop
I much prefer limping rather than making a small raise, that will always get either called or 3-bet. He have you covered, so making the pot large benefit him not you.

Postflop
If you want to play "correct" poker, you need to have some tripple barrel bluffs. I dont think, J high has much showdown value, after he called you twice, so this hand is probably a decent candidate for bluffing blocking the rivered straights.

Vilain seems to be LAG (28/16). With J8o in SB, I prefer to limp/call with an effective stack of 40 big blinds. You should lower your c-bet frequency out of position, but here the flop is dry and you can c-bet. Your c-bet seems expensive to me. I would have bet around 2150 depending on my stack. Personally, I would have stopped bluff turn even on a K. If I decide to bluff, I would have bet 50% pot turn to shove river. But I'll probably stop the damage on the turn. When Vilain calls preflop, he has Qx, 66, 55, Kx.

I agree with this. If we dubble or tripple barrel any hand without showdown value, we end up bluffing to much. An easy rule of thump to avoid that is to continue, when we pick up equity on the turn but give up, when we dont. In this case several turn cards could have given us some kind of straightdraw, but the K was not one of them. On this turn we have no pair, no draw, not even an overcard. So when we continue here, we are just praying, he will fold.

Yes, you are probably right, I torched a lot of money barreling this spots, especially against this type of player, I also need to work on my limp strategy, thank for input. He called me with K7.

He called me with K7.
That does not nessesarely make it a bad bluff though. He just kind of randomly ran into top pair on the turn, and then he called you down with, what was now near the top of his range. But the issue is, that when he does have a K, you are drawing completely dead on the turn, and this is why, its probably best to just give up with this particular combo. Even just having some kind of gutshot like JT or J9 increase the long term EV of a turn bet significantly, because 1 in 11 times you then bink a straight on the river, and you most likely get paid.
