Should I have bet this flop? I checked to the PF raiser and he checked back. Bet the turn? Though he might have an ace high or something and wouldn't put me on a pair so waited for him to bet. Couldn't wait any longer and he folds the river. Just an 'Oh well" situation?

You played this hand fine, but generally I’d bet turn. Your opponent will often call turn and river with just ace-high or good showdown value hands like QQ in spots like this, and that’s a big part of his range after checking back flop. Part of the reason why is because it’s tough for you to have much on a board like this so people tend to bluff catch more often.

Preflop
Standard defend.

Flop
Standard check to the preflop raiser.

Turn
When he check back flop, and you improve to a full house, I would start betting for value. You dont have to go very big, but try to make him pay something to continue with A high or maybe a flushdraw, thats drawing dead.

River
As played definitely betting now, but I think, your sizing is to big. You are trying to get called mainly by A high, and he might be more willing to put in like 1.000 chips with that hand rather than 1.750.

Yep. Seems like I missed a bet on the turn. Thank you for your analysis.

I am sure I will flop MANY more full houses in the future :) and will get those value bets in!

I agree with most other posters that a small turn bet makes a lot of sense. I would probably go 30% pot here or so as noted on A high hands. That said, I get the sense that this dude had absolutely nothing. I think he calls with A high on the river if he has it. My guess is dude had Q high at best or possibly even something like 33...though a small pocket might bet flop there.

That is entirely possible. And of course he is not calling any bet size with a counterfeited pair (22-66) or "J high like a boss". So unless he decides to bluff, we are not going to get paid, and it just is, what it is :)
