Hey guys,
So I was in the BB with pocket tens.
Blinds were 15/30 with the tourny just starting out. Everyone had roughly the same size stack (1500) as only 2 or 3 hands had been played before this one.
UTG raised to 120
UTG+1 called his 120
4 folds
CO reraises to 300
SB folds
I 3bet all-in
everyone folds apart from CO who calls.
Turns out he had pocket queens.

Could anyone give me some tips/advice? I'm guessing that this wasn't the best time to use this kinda play. I've only been playing hold'em for a month or so, so i'm still kinda a beginner.

Thanks.

Early levels of a STT-SNG, UTG's range is typically going to be pretty tight here (ie. many players will only be raising in early levels with AQo+, 99+... maybe AQs+, TT+... some players suggest folding AQ from EP in early levels). & then CO 3-betting over a UTG raise you have to put them on a tight range here.
TT is a fold in this spot.

You need to analyze the actions of the players before making a decision.
been raised UTG means a lot of strength, but several players use this type of play because of the position and not because of the hand.
a raise after this action really means much strength and TT is losing.
this situation can only go allin with AA,KK.
