V is a slightly losing player but not bad. Have been raising flops a lot.
I guess this is fine but what are your thoughts?
Also is there a % where we should be trapping & where we rip it in?

Considering you have already put half your stack in the pot preflop, I don't think I would trap here. A good sized pot already post flop, I would shove.

Based on the info presented I seriously doubt villain has set or straight.
I don't think there should be a % for trap, unless the 'table is fixed'.
Here, preflop it's already 25% of your stack, which I think is fine (bigger is no harm but may increase variance).

I don't mind the idea of trapping on rare occasions here - maybe 10% of the time. I would likely have applied pressure on the flop though. As mentioned already, the pot is already pretty big, and maybe a bet would get an AK or overpair to get frisky. There's not enough draws out there to really worry about giving a free card though - so maybe I wouldn't bet there.

I guess it depends on what I'm trapping for. If I don't want to play a huge pot with just a pair, the check behind on the flop reduces that chance. If I want my opponent to over reach with an overpair or an AK, than a bet would give them the opportunity to get it all in on the flop.
