so I only have 50 hands on villain but he's pretty aggressive. In game I had been limping SB a lot (as is my BvB strategy vs decent players). He had been raising me a lot so I planned to limp and then jam preflop....but he let me see a flop instead.
Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 28/22/5

iPoker - 125/250 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

MP: 21.22 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 8.70, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, hands: 25)
CO: 25.02 BB (VPIP: 22.22, PFR: 18.87, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 55)
BTN: 53.08 BB (VPIP: 17.31, PFR: 9.62, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 52)
Hero (SB): 57.48 BB
BB: 28.03 BB (VPIP: 28.00, PFR: 22.00, 3Bet Preflop: 6.25, Hands: 50)
UTG: 29.85 BB (VPIP: 32.08, PFR: 26.42, 3Bet Preflop: 11.76, Hands: 54)

6 players post ante of 0.12 BB, Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.22 BB) Hero has K T

fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 0.5 BB, BB checks

Flop: (2.72 BB, 2 players) Q 4 7
Hero checks, BB bets 1.76 BB, Hero raises to 8 BB

My Plans: in the event villain jams flop over my check raise I will call it off due to SPR.
in the event he flats my check raise I jam 100% of turns.

My questions:
1) do we prefer to just raise preflop?
2)on this flop do we prefer to just lead? for what size?
3) if we check should we check call? (I think I hate check calling this situation)

I think I like call/call better than raise/call or raise/fold preflop, so agree with the call. I think I like a check/call better than a check/raise here on the flop. What hand besides a flushdraw are you check/raising...and then jamming 100% of turns? I assume you're check/calling all your sets and probably Q7. I think a check raise makes it a bit too obvious what you're holding. Also, considering villain is so aggressive...you may not want to take such an aggressive line if you think he'll loosely call off with Qx or A7/K7 type holdings.

I think a better line might be to check/raise turn and jam river as it gives your biggest potential holdings more credibility. I'll also add that I don't think your line on this hand is bad by any means. Just some food for thought. My guess is villain either jammed...but more likely folded to your postflop raise. I highly doubt you saw a turn card here. Seeing a turn card very likely means Qx or a flush draw.

I play it exactly how you do, I think. This is an okay hand to complete/3b jam but I'd do it at smaller stack depths than 28bb effective.

Here call/call pre seems fine to me, and I'd be raising some of my stronger Kx instead as well as some of the bottom end of the pole here that doesn't like call/calling pre, stuff like weak offsuit Kx.

On flop I think we CAN go for a lead/3b jam but we block a ton of the draws that we'd want him to have. I think it's more likely we get action on a check raise with a wider range than we get him to raise this board into us. Also he's pretty likely to stab this when checked to I think, but less likely to raise when bet into. And I think we benefit a lot from sticking in a lot of money now (or getting him to put in a little and letting us take it down).

Basically I want to take it now or see 2 more cards and I think that's going to happen most easily with your line.

It is ok to have some calls preflop but I prefer raising most of the time. I never check raise this board I just lead right out. I think check raise smells like a flush draw to a lot of players (because it is a lot of the time). I prefer check call to check raise but I think barreling three times on most runouts is our best line with this hand.

Maybe it's just me but with a sizable chip advantage on V I would rather raise KTdd pre and c-bet. If V raises we can evaluate but we probably have enough equity to get it in with the over card, flush draw, and running straight cards. Worst case, with our stack advantage we cannot be eliminated. May be folding to the 3 be pre though.

I am raising 2.5 preflop here unless the BB is a maniac
I am leading for half pot on the flop if he calls and jamming if he raises.

I would prefer to take down a blind vs blind pot without showdown if at all possible.
