Thank U 4 Posting.

Why would you ask if you played poorly?

Why specifically poorly?

The reason I am asking is, it is a very wide question and of course you won and the villain did not know how to play PLO8.
So you may not want to be asking if you played poorly. It might be more beneficial to ask was this the most effective line vs a full range of villain's limps?

After typing the above out I realized this might be an FU babydizzy statement from you. If so ignore the psychology advice above.

If you saw the villain's hand preflop you should have played exactly as you did.
If you knew that villain thought they were playing PLO high only as it seems they were than you should play exactly as you did.
If you thought villain would limp A2xx weak hands and fold then raising is again a good idea.
If villain was passive with anything less than the nuts and would fold, again your play is good.

The problem becomes does the villain limp strong A2xx hands and never folds. Then when we are raising your hand we put ourselves into a spot of risking lots of chips for half a pot most of the time. We still need to raise if the blinds will fold even against A2xx limp.

On the flop vs a villain that does not fold we hate to bet here. We have no Diamonds our villain may have both a better low draw and a better high draw A2dd.
If we are winning and have the better low draw why bet pot and blast out the really weak hands and keep in the stronger hands?
We can take a card and if the flush hits we can decide then what to do. Also we can get all in on 2 streets here so no need take risks on the first street vs a villain who is not folding.
Preserving chips in tournaments is necessary, especially in PLO.

Hope this helps

:):)

Yeah sort of, but your opponent played his hand worse so you made money. :)

Pretty much this. A lot of PLO8 players seem to think it's like Holdem, except you get to pick your favourite 2 cards. Ignoring the fact that your 4 cards need to ALL work together. Your 4 work together better than his naked Kings and you ended up with the best hand.

Pre is good. Flop is ok, should bet closer to half pot.

Turn is good.

Looks good overall to me.
