per flop; I pick up 97os my favorite 😍 hand so I min raise both the blinds call so now I only have 4bb left.

Flop: Q 6 9 flop one ☝️ spade so the sb checks and the bb bets enough to put me all in. I knew I was behind but with back doors 🚪 I can’t fold can I.

So what would you do ?? And was I pot committed?? Thank you for your comments .

You are never pot commited. I would fold hard and then wait for AA or maybe go all in any A once you are like 1 BB

if it is your favorit hand you should shove, with 6BB it is push / fold play

Agree on the fact that its not a good view to min-bet this hand, only push or fold on your side under 10bbs definitely. However I would actually fold 97s from that position.

I wouldn't have played 97s. Yes, very short stacked at this point, but surely there would be a better spot to get it in yet.

With 6BB left and the big stack in the BB, I think I would have folded preflop. That short you dont have much fold equity. Even pocket 2's here maybe a fold as agai your to short to probally get the big stack to fold here if you 50/50 at best.

As played on the flop I think the push was OK. You are not happy but have most likely 5 outs to beat he Queen if they have it.

As short stacked as you were, I don't understand your raise preflop with that hand. A shove would've been a more appropriate decision, but a fold even better. After the flop, you had to go for it.

With such a big stack, with such big blinds, in such a situation, with this card, you can easily go all-in pre-flop in the hope that you will be able to take the pot without showing, but if someone calls with Ax or broadway cards, maybe with a split pair, there is nothing to think about, the hand goes all the way and hopefully we can win with two live cards on the river ...

As others have said, we should not have a min-raising range with 6BB, unless maybe if we want to get tricky with pocket aces, and our opponents wont pick up on this. But barring that its a pure push-fold situation. So the answer is, that the moment you decided to not fold, you were committed to the pot, and you should have moved all-in. And even a chip leader will normally not call a 6BB jam with something as bad as Q4o, so playing your hand correctly might well have changed the outcome, depending on what BTN had.

When you open the pot with a raise and that raise represent 1/3 of your stack it's a shove preflop.
When you have less than 10 BB you have to push/fold preflop.
IMO 97s is the bottom of your shoving range in this spot.
