The ICM calculation I uploaded is micro print sized. Based on the calculation I made though, which I believe was done properly, the call was +EV. Would love some feedback on the decision itself though.

Early in game.
Stack sizes: roughly equal at 1500
Blinds: 15/30

Opponent read (SB): Loose. Passive/Limps preflop and on cbet. Cbet with KJo overcards on dry board few hand ago. Never played him previously.

Preflop:

UTG - folds.
UTG+1 - limps.
Hero - first to raise 3x BB. Calls all around (UTG folds).

4 way to flop.

Postflop:

SB - checks
UTG+1 - limps.
Hero - 2/3 pot bet.

SB - shoves 1300 to roughly 650 pot.
UTG+1 - folds.
Hero - calls.

hero should just call the first guys min bet of 30, our aim is to get to a cheap turn, we're not even drawing to the nuts here, completely overplayed hand.

ICM only really deals with shoving or folding preflop, it has no business being discussed here as we are now postlfop, with a LOT more variables in play.

So, the call is certainly not +ev, and even if someone proved to me somehow matematically that it was, i'd still be folding and using my common sense instead. It's obvious we're behind on the flop, when fish overbet like this i'd say 90% of the time it's either a big draw, or it's a weak pair trying to "protect".

simply put, do we really want to go out at blind level 30?

in regards to your note taking, you are falling into the trap of having useless information in your notes. A lot of players are the same way. Try to pick up on universal things, that can relate to many hands, rahter than specific things like "oh he c-bet with xx hand on xxx board" that really doesn't tell us much.

For example, he shoves here, we could note him as "impatient" or "overvalues pairs" something that can relate over many different spots. Being specific about note taking is just such a waste of time and effort, and it really doesnt help us at all when making a decision. Try to get in peoples head and find out how they approach the game, once you are able to pick up on things like that, you will be unstoppable!
