Hi Guys,

Reviewing this SNG I'm still unsure if I should have shoved. I was in position but was faced with 2 large stacks but I figured the blinds were gonna hit me soon.

What do you guys think?

I probably wouldn't have waited as long with only 5 times the big blind left. You have good position to shove here and you are probably not going to have a much better hand. Even though you have 3 hands to choose form if you fold here, I like the shove. The odds are good you're probably ahead with the two blinds left to act.

**Editing post based on realizing this is an 18 man not a 9 man. Having this info is changes our view of the bubble and ICM a little bit.
QJ is a shove here. However, I previously stated I am pushing really wide. I am not pushing as wide based on this being an 18 man, so we are are 2 away from ITM and we have 2 other short stacks at the table. I am probably shoving 20-25% here since we are shoving into stacks that have us covered and can call a little wider than we would like.

Also, you are in an interesting situation where you will need to be shoving to preserve fold equity and at least stay afloat if the blinds go around a few times without the bubble breaking. However, you will constantly be shoving into 2 huge stacks, so pushing really wide (which you would like to do now to steal blinds), can be dangerous. One thing you can do is instead of shoving on the button with the bottom of your range, wait until the other 2k stack is in the BB then shove. Of course you are still shoving through the big stacks, but they will not be calling as wide when not in the blinds. So if you can steal the blinds when the other 2k stack is in the BB, you add to your stack and take crucial chips away from him. You may also have some more fold equity in this scenario.

On the button with low M I think thats an easy shove. You''ll pick up the blinds most of the time, and when you don't you still have 2 big connecting cards. I'd say you made the right play here.

I dont think you had a choice here since you really needed to pick up blinds and QJs is a good hand on the button if there is no one raising in. I think that given you only had 2.5M though you may not have had much fold equity.
