Is check/calling here a bad play? I think that on the river I should have folded but on the turn I think I can call, do you guys agree?

Preflop
In a game without antes we can consider to fold the worst AX hands in the SB, when there are limps in front of us. But with an ante any AX is a totally standard complete. Dont see any reason to raise though.

Flop
You missed completely, so my plan here would be to check and fold. But luckily it checks through.

Turn
Now you have top pair with a bad kicker, and in limped multiway pots I tend to play very straightforward. So I would lead out here and basically see, what happens. I dont want this to get checked through again and allow both opponents to potentially suck out on me by completing some random gutshot or two pair with whatever, they have. If you get raised, then you can evaluate and for instance call now but check-fold most rivers. As played I dont see, how we can fold top pair to a 50% bet, not even when there is a call in front of us. They could both have some kind of draw or second pair or whatever.

River
BB, who was the turn aggressor, now checks, and instead UTG finally wakes up and takes aggressive action. I dont know man. I typically dont get to the river like this, but I guess, its a crying call getting 3:1? You most likely dont beat anything, he is betting for value, but maybe you chop with A2-A4, or maybe he has some kind of busted draw, and now he trying to steal the pot. I am not so worried about having BB left to act behind you, because if he had a very strong hand, he would most likely have bet it again. When he overcall the river bet, I am expecting to lose this hand most of the time though.

Spoiler
So UTG flopped a set and slowplayed it until the river, and BB had another weak AX hand. I would not beat myself up to much over this one. Its mostly one of those annoying spots, where we catch up while behind, and kind of have to pay off. Or to put it another way it was a really good turn card for UTG, which made his slowplay on the flop look like a genius move. Very nice for him that you both had AX, and that none of you had a hand like 86 or T8 of diamonds, which would have sucked out on him at the end.
