Did I play right? Because my preflop raise was to remove hands just like the one that beat me.

And when the flop hit, knowing that micro limit players go all-in with any pair, I went all-in assuming the opponent had Jx or 9x and was beaten by the deck.

You raise too small they have the odd to call whatever hands they go in first. Your bet is creaming "I have a monster hand guys please stay in the hand)
I usually go 3x the raise + 1 per call. Around 1000 here
Your flop action is just terrible.
Bet a normal sizing bet and hope one of them have a little something. You want them to put there stacks with top pair or some weak draws

You say, that your goal was to make worse hands like the one, he had, fold. This is not the right way to think about poker. A 3-bet with KK is for value, which mean, you want worse hands to call not fold. And the funny part is, you actually chose a sizing, which was so small, that they will never fold anything. As Arnakk2424 say, you should go to around 1.000 chips here or at a minimum 900.

Flop
With a SPR of around 2 you can either make it a 2-street hand or 3-street hand and go bet, jam or bet, bet, jam. You want to get called by worse hands, which in this case you did, but only because the opponent was terrible. You say "knowing that micro limit players go all-in with any pair" but this is definitely not true for the population as a whole. This particular opponent was apparently a huge fish, but there was also another player in the hand, and maybe he folded a hand like JX or TT, because you made it to expensive for him to continue. So you need to respect your opponents a lot more and get over this idea, they are all complete morons.

Results
Bad beats are part of the game. Just reenter or play the next one. MTTs on Stars run all the time.

Your study point is preflop bet sizing- adjusting for number of V is a good idea- We want to be thinking about the odds we are giving the caller as they will be closing the action-we are offering 5.6-1 for them to over call- This sizing is good if your V do 4 bet sometimes if they do not but do chase then we want to get more in preflop as they will often play fit or fold post flop-

Echoing what others have said. 2 things you need to take away from this hand

1. Pre flop 3 bet needs to be larger as you giving odds for anyone to call (even the players still to act) and all hands have their equity drop as more players get in the hand. We dont want players to fold necessarily with KK (we dont want to play in a community pot either) but we cant give them the correct odds to continue against us.

2. Betting the way you did on the flop will limit your value over time (which is what matters, long term and not short term). I know it worked in this case (meaning you got a much worse hand to call the all in) but most of the time you will just be folding out Jx, 9x and Q10. These are hands we want to get value from and not get them to fold. Plus any possible float hands villain would have will also not continue. I play in the micros myself and I see at times what happened in this hand where players will call big bets with middle or bottom pair but it is not often enough to make the flop jam the correct play with all the value you lose when everyone folds out. If you are seeing this a majority of the time where you can just jam overpairs on the flop and any flopped pair will call... then I really want to be included in those games and wish I could find them
