Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 18/12/64

A .10c rebuy MTT with 75 players...

With the blinds and antes I was just below an M of 3. Even at that, I had some respect at the table, and could usually get a fold to a pot bet. I was running 18/12/54 (as close as I can remember), with total hands played at 78%.... I was in 16th place with 26 players left. and six to the money. (0.89c) for 20th. :p So, with that in mind, this hand came up...

Should I have waited? Played it different?

Shove pre-. Any time you bet and then can't fold to a 3-bet because you've left yourself so little behind, it was probably better to shove in the first place.

Also look at how you got to this stack size. There are times it can't be helped; you lose a big pot and it's what you have left. But there are plenty of situations where players let themselves get shorter than they should by waiting for too narrow a range of hands and thus not putting enough weight on looking for viable steal and re-steal opportunities.

If you are going to be playing a hand at this stage you should be shoving imo
