Floped 2 pair , checked and I was checked back .I bet on the turn but I got 3bet and I shoved thinking I am ok .
Was any salvation from this hand at all ?? should I have bet the flop ? The way I played it , should I have called his 3bet on the turn or the shove was correct ??
Now that I am thinking about it ....... a 3bet by me preflop (to see the strength of his hand ) would it be more appropriate , even oop ?? (so if I got 4bet then I would had folded for sure )

Thanks for your advice :)

Showdown:
3722BMZ (BB) shows Q A (two pair, Aces and Queens)
(Equity - Pre-Flop: 30%, Flop: 9%, Turn: 5%, River: 0%)

hellslave (MP) shows Q Q (a full house, Queens full of Fours)
(Equity - Pre-Flop: 70%, Flop: 91%, Turn: 95%, River: 100%)

hellslave (MP) wins 88,288

I would probably 3bet preflop but it's close. he is in EP and 3bet folding 1/4 of my stack does not really float my boat.

afterwards it's just a cooler.

no you shouldn't lead the flop. you should almost never donk headsup unless you are donk jamming. in this case your hand is so strong and you block most the value he could call you with.

obviously on turn you think you are safe, there's no reason not to get it in here with top 2.

Push for what? You wanna see the bluffs on the river by opponent? Lets bet-call turn and check-call river. But i dont see the bluff range from opponent xD

That's just a tough hand. I would wonder why that player didn't cbet. I would think the preflop raiser would cbet that flop almost all the time. After his turn raise, I would have been super suspicious that he was trapping. That said, AK or AJ suited are hands he might consider slow playing as most turn cards aren't going to change much. It's also really tough for him to have you beat as he needs both remaining queens, aces, or 4s. He could also have AQ which would be a push.
