$22 NLHE MTT: Mini Million (Staked) - Shove

Hi all,

yesterday I was playing in the Mini Million staked by Hugh blair.
I have to admit, usually it is not my limit that I am playing and I am also not used
of the feeling being staked. I was pretty card dead long time and hoping to steal the blinds.
As I was relative short by myself already, I decided to do a shove. I have to admit I felt not very happy about this hand.
I wonder how you would have played this hand. The same or would you have waited for a better hand?

A lot of the times I would think in shoving this hand. Pre bubble I would not shove, I limp or bet to small min 2x. Either way or shove, with 13 BBs could also have folded preflop, but can be played by trying to steal the blinds. We are losing to a lot of hands preflop, I think he is making the call with a lot of pairs and AceX, limp or bet 2x minimum and fold to a shove obvious possible, if the short stack shove we could assume he has a good hand and if big stack shove we can assume his range is strong too with this infos. For future reference K9s with folding equity is shovable any position except UTG. you have to be semi tight in MTTs not too tight. Early stages play nut strong loose w/ position. Best of luck next week forum mate.
