$2 NL HE: $ : Flop second pair with K on board

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 29/11/1.8

Villian Stats (VPIP/PFR/AF): 29/11/1.8

This is a fairly simple hand but I just wanted some confirmation on it. Is the right move to fold on the flop or call and see what happens on the turn? Sometimes I play hands like this and call only to get an ace later on (on the river) and still lose to a better hand. In other words, they tend to trap me. Is it better to bet on the flop and if he calls just check/fold it down?

Stacks:

* BB with 640
* UTG with 2005
* MP with 2335
* BTN with 4700
* SB with 1435

Ahh I see. I don't believe I have that as a stat on my HUD. Should I add it?

No not really i use it sometimes is pretty similar to the factor stat(Raises+bets)/calls where as frequency is (raises+bets)/(calls+folds+raises+bets)
lol sry for stats hijack.

The hand, if we where IP i would defenatly call here but OOP its kinda iffy, any dynamic with villain?(u been in any Bvsb or covsbtn spots recently?).
The bet is so small i dont mind flatting here one street and giving up un improved on the turn.
But folding is fine to imo just cause the stack sizes are kinda akward, your to deep to stack second pair but to short for any kind of pot control.

His bet on the flop is so weak. You are getting 4.5:1 odds to call.
BUT, this is a drawy board. Anyway, I would have to call because:
1.He is the chip leader by a large margin and could be trying to push you around.
2. He could have something that you crush. (i.e. queen 10 with a spade)
3. He could be on a draw and this could be somewhat of a blocking bet.
4. You are getting correct odds to call.
5. I just don't see him making this weak of a bet with a king after calling a larger bet preflop.

I fold to a bigger bet (650+)on the turn if i don't improve though.

the flop bet is weak yes but that might be designed to get u to raise so just smooth call and see the turn and see what he does on the turn as u have postion and most probably the best hand.

I agree. BTW,what were the blinds? 50/100 I assume.

Was this a single table turbo or regular speed? Not that it matters much at this point, just curious is all.
