Just lost most of my chips a couple hands ago. I'd certainly rather have a better hand here, but on the other hand I'm guaranteed a heads up pot. Unless he has an overpair I probably have close to 40%.

Should I just get it in?

yea id get it in, when it folds around to button and a min raise comes out im 3betting a high percentage of the time and im pushing any two in ur spot unless i have some miraculous read that the guy has a monster and is tryin to induce a shove from my short stack. I think more often then not this guy raised so small so that he can justify throwing his cards away to your all in.

button should really be shoving 100% of his range imo,

but yea op, losing 100 chips from our BB just means that IF we double up we are 200 chips less than we would have been and we may not get heads up, no brainer imo. id call 100% of hands here i think

Thanks folks. I actually tanked, folded, and then felt like an idiot. :)

I'd probably just shove because it's simpler, but another possible play is the stop and go. Call, then shove no matter what the flop with a possible exception where you catch big AND have reason to think he'll fold to a shove.

Stop and go is a really good thought. Didn't even consider that at the time.

You honestly think he has enough F.E to push him off any flop with most likely over cards?

I dont.

Pot will be 550 on the flop and I'd have ~350 left behind. Probably enough to get a fold sometimes unless BTN is smart and realizes it's a stop and go. Getting a fold sometimes post-flop might be better than getting a fold never pre-flop.

It really isn't. You will not get the chance to be heads up again.
I like the stop 'n go, it could actually give a tiny bit of FE vs his stack. But shove right here is fine too.

I dont think a stop and go is working in this spot... If we flat BTN pre flop raise the pot is 450, and we will only have 345 in chips apposed to villains 1592 in chips...if your bet is less then this small pot your almost always getting a call unless his BTN range is ridiculously wide.

Yes, he'll call the stop 'n go almost always. I just think he calls the shove pre even closer to always.

I'd probably just shove. Wasn't there a better spot earlier tho?

Well, since you brought it up. Here's the hand where I lost most of my chips. I actually won the flip with the 10's, but some bozo with 65s calls behind the two shoves. :stupido2:

Stop-n-go, he'll fold a ton on bad boards if his range is wide. Hard to call with KQ when the flop is A72r, plus he's probably a tard since he didn't shove first.

i think a stop-n-go or a shove is fine in this spot. Don't fold
