Mid-way through a bounty MTT at tournament series in Reno, NV.

Blinds are 100/200 25 ante. Villain has 45 BB and Hero has 50 BB.

Villain is a fish but tightens up his EP open-raising range. I give villain credit for like top 15% open-raising UTG.

Villain opens 600. Folds to Hero in CO. I call. 3 folds, heads-up.

Hero has AdJs. Flop Ah4dJd. Villains cbets 600. Hero raises to 1,800, villain calls.

Turn 8d. Villain checks, hero bets 1,975, villain calls.

River 2s. Villain checks.

What I want to know is... This river is a standard VB like 99% of the time right? I'm expecting villain to rarely show up with a flush/set and his range is heavy with big Ax hands.

I bet half-2/3rds of pot villain calls and flips over AK. If he raises we instafold.

Bet ~5k on river. The way the hand played out I don't think he'll be raising. AA and JJ are certainly in his EP range but I think we'd have found out about it by now if he had either of those. KQd could be possible but I also think he'd have raised flop or turn with that.

you can go like 3/4 pot and expect AK to call, def bet/folding unless he has shown himself to be capable of bluff raising rivers.

I would bet anywhere from half the pot to 2/3rds of the pot.

If he has a flush or set so be it.

never has a set and a flush would be played awfully if he calls turn

I think turn valuebet could be bigger, river super standard vbet.

Am I lookin @ stacks wrong tho? If we had 50bb stax that's 10k...after the flop and turn bet....if you bet 4-5k on river...surely you can't fold to a shove lol that's 90% of stax in..

Fold pre, shove the river all day every day. We should be getting our whole stack in here, and folding to a raise is pretty terrible since we should be shoving our whole stack in the first place.

God the level of advice here is terrible. Where's Wizzim when you need him?
