$10 NL HE Turbo: $0,10 NL HE Turbo: $ Turbo: Bad play or bad luck?

Hi.

Was running well in a turbo right now and got two hands in a row that broke my heart..How much was bad play and how much was bad luck?

First one, based on pot size and size of bets, should I have called on my draw or was folding the right thing?

PS, sorry for the language, I hope you understand anyway...

PS PS, its 10cent, not 10$ buyin

Very next one, pretty annoyed at missing out on the chips in the previous one and get a hand to get my chips back, but disaster strikes..How should I have played it?

Without stack sizes from the hand history it will be tough to give a decent HA.

1st hand, if I have the stackto take it I call to see the turn with that many players in.

2nd hand, just a bad beat

*** TURN *** [7d Js Ah] [Th]

Using my mind reading skills I believe his question for Hand 1 was if he should have floated the flop bet.

That was my question yes..Not remembering the exact stack but I think it was around 4000 at the time, a little above average

On the flop on hand 1 you only needed 180 to call into a pot of 1410 so your 7.8-1 pot odds were good enough to call plus the implied odds of possibly stacking someone makes it worth the 180.

the first hand i believe was a correst fold because your pot odds weren't strong enough, if you called every draw with people raising you wont last. and the second hand just sucked, bad beat! sorry.

This is the perfect analysis... Follow this most of the time and you will get payed off on your big hands that get made and lose the least on the hands that aren't worth trying to make.

ALWAYS leave yourself outs.
