Another day another donk (bettor). Game is a 10$ Fifty/50 SnG on Stars. Opponent was playing VPIP 62 / PFR 21 over 29 hands. This one is mostly just for fun, so not going to hold back the results :LOL::LOL:

This hand pretty much plays itself after the raise and call by villain preflop. Villain gets married to their pair of aces and crappy kicker because blockers, right? What are the chances they are up against three aces instead of just another pair of aces and a better kicker? Well, it turns out this is that hand.

On the turn, hero checks because at this point the villain can only try to catch up but never will, unless they picked up four T's which would be a bad day for hero. No point scaring them off anyway on the turn and maybe it will induce more bluffs on the river.

River, the usual raise over the villain's bet to take the last of their chips and send them on their bike.

Yeah that pretty much sums up the hand. On the flop its obviously a bit of a cooler for him to run top pair into top set. But he also lose to any top pair with a better kicker, and this is basically why, we dont call a large raise out of position with a weak ace. On the river there dont seem to be much value in betting from his perspective either. He chops with most AX now, but he loses to TX, and draws came in, so its difficult to see, which worse hands call, especially when he essentially jam. Maybe he can check-call hoping to chop the pot or catch a last minute bluff. So basically he completely butchered the hand and send himself on the bike :)
