Sometimes... When Someone limps in before you... They are dead money... If you were to put out a raise... hands like K9 that are marginal enough to limp but not good enough to call a raise... (In his mind) are going to fold when you raise. Then... You will be seeing a flop with Just the BB who u probably Have a better hand then... So IMO

raise it up to like 1000 pre. K9 will probably fold to that... But we shouldn't be results oriented so raise... And in the spot your in... I can probably justify getting it in with that flop. It was just an unlucky spot in my mind.

Just a thought, but think pre-flop the 300 call is were your trouble started. I'd consider that a raise situation (specially at 6 players on the table), that way you are showing strenth and might have gotton the k9 to fold as obviously he isn't going to fold at any point there after hitting two pair on the flop and there having not been any raise pre besides the small all-in push by the shortstack.

Just a thought as sometimes have to consider if the hand is worth a call then it should be worth a raise. I can see where the play from the k9 came, he was looking at the fact of the short stack and you and he called light to see what you were going to do I would be thinking as the short stack didn't worry him, and your just calling in my opinion is showing weakness.

I am sure you can get some other great feedback from players on this as well, have never been one to analyze hands much, but something have been trying to get into both of myself and through the forum to assist others if I can.

Thanks,
bluff

Folding preflop is fine, raising preflop is fine, calling isn't. You open yourself up to a squeeze play and in any case you don't want to be playing KQo multiway.

^^

Obvious this is the right answer, problem is you only have a 21BB stack so there isn't almost no room for pre and postflop play anymore.

I wouldn't know what's the optimal line is , but I'd probably would fold preflop with a 21BB stack.
