Clearly it was a very poor call from him! I was just experiementing with the 3-bet shove and certainly didn't expect a call from him unless he has something really good as his stats looked pretty standard and he hadn't done anything stupid or fishy the whole game.

Perhaps it was too early to 3-bet shove with around 20 BB's

If you think he's stealing and you can push him off then raise to about 950. I'm folding here by default though.

By shoving 20bbs you completely blow the risk/reward ratio.

This^^ we are on the bubble in second place with a reasonable stack so we clearly want to stay out of pots with this hand.

he's running a 16/13 over 64 hands. likely a nit, this is not a shove unless you have any other compelling reads.

EDIT- lol at his call. but it makes our shove even worse. you can't pick players at this stake, you just have to make few mistakes and you will profit. Chip away in smaller pots where you don't have to make big risks, and shove all in on people more often in unopened pots.
